Roger's Wildlife Rescue in Woodingdean, Brighton, has had its busiest year on record in 2005, with 1,239 wild birds and more than 200 animals brought in.
Our total number of releases was 639 birds, 25 field mice, 19 hedgehogs, 18 foxes, six rabbits, six squirrels, two badgers and a roe deer.
We would like to thank everyone who has made a donation when bringing an injured bird or animal.
Thanks also to Shirley, Moya and Arthur for their help with collecting and bringing "patients" to us.
A final thank you to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service for its invaluable assistance during the summer and for using its turntable ladder which helped us rescue many birds in trouble on rooftops.
-Roger and Fleur Musselle, Roger's Wildlife Rescue, Brighton
