I am 13 years old and go to Longhill School in Brighton.
I would like to complain about the newspapers, television, teachers and pretty much everyone else.
Why? Because nearly everyone calls children kids. The thing is, I am not a kid.
A kid is a young goat. And a child is a very young child. At school, even some of the teachers call us kids.
When referring to children, please call them children and when writing about kids, you should point out you are talking about goats.
But if you are talking about children, point out you're talking about children.
