It is of vital importance St Patrick's night shelter, Hove, for young, homeless people, is kept open.
It is clear from what the young people themselves have said of it, their whole lives are being turned around because of the support given to them.
I have been supporting young people in taking constructive steps forward in their lives all my adult life.
We are in dire need of more understanding and awareness about relationships, which not only work but which also allow a child or young person's life to improve.
St Patrick's night shelter is a gem and Brighton and Hove City Council mustn't close it.
By saving it and allowing young people from other areas to stay there, St Patrick's can powerfully lead the way for all areas of the country.
