If Robin Durant had read my letter (November 2) properly, he would have seen that I, too, praised the amazing work of the disabled foot and mouth painting artists.
The point is, I wish to choose my own Christmas cards, many of which benefit various charitable organisations, notably Cancer Research.
If, as he suggests, I return these cards unopened, surely it would only increase the foot and mouth painters' postage bill?
It would be better if these cards were sold from the usual outlets, then, if people wanted to buy them, they would at least be given a choice.
At least Mr Durant's friends now know, should they have ever doubted it for one moment, that he does pay for his cards from this organisation after all.
