Now Asda is removing the scaffolding from the cliffs at Brighton Marina, I assume the result will be an eyesore, with bolted patches every few metres.
I shudder to think how many hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayers' money it must have cost. And it is still not safe enough to re-open the path below.
Can anyone tell me if it looks better than the rejected netting, fitted to the adjacent cliff, which would have provided a safer option and allowed the path to re-open?
