The improtance of training in small companies will be on the menu at a business breakfast for industry experts.
The Wealden Business Breakfast will debate issues about personnel and training at the Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club on November 29.
Guests meeting at 7.30am will hear speaker Ray Mason talk about motivation and improving individual productivity.
He has worked in global companies with staff numbers ranging from five to 150.
Wealden District Council's sustainable development councillor Keith Whitehead said: "Training and development of people is a vital part of meeting the challenge of the future.
"This offers managers from the small and medium-sized enterprises, the backbone of Wealden economy, the chance to tap into the latest business thinking without having to spend all day out of the office."
