All right kidda? Yorick Williams is back, complete with trademark Mancunian greeting, a strut and a swagger and the happy knack of hitting key shots when his team needs them.
The Moss Side maverick fired a three-pointer and followed with a long two inside the last 110 seconds to send Genesis Brighton Bears to a win their faltering season badly needed.
They outscored Birmingham Bullets 15-5 over the last six minutes to grab a morale-boosting British League success at the Brighton Centre.
Williams, the man who completed a shock move back to Brighton from Birmingham on Friday afternoon, was at the heart of it.
True, his 13 points and three-of-nine three-point shooting were not the stuff of legend.
But the spark he gave the crowd and his team, plus the hole he left in the Bullets lineup, were crucial in what he admitted was the strangest game of his career.
Williams, who expects his stop in Sussex to be a brief one en route to a European league, said: "That was definitely the most bizarre situation I've been in my whole life.
"You try to be as professional as possible but I'm playing against them thinking 'these are my friends'.
"I didn't shoot the ball very well, Jeff Bonds stuck to me all game until the last couple of minutes, but it's good to be back and I enjoyed it."
After his third three, to open a 61-55 lead with 1:50 to go, Williams ran back pointing to the crowd like a striker after scoring a goal (or Ashley Giles after taking a catch).
Dino Tanner replied with a three but Williams hit another jump shot and Terrance McGee rattled off Bears' last four points.
It was lively and dramatic and the crowd enjoyed it but don't get the idea this match was a classic.
McGee, whose woeful three-for- 14 field goal shooting but admirable work ethic epitomised the contest, said: "We've got some stuff to work on.
"It still feels like pre-season for us because we got together so late but we're getting better.
"Having Yorick back helped. He's got that feistiness and that firepower. He's an energy player. With Yorick, you're never out of a game."
Williams' presence meant Corey Jackson could come off the bench and hit two of his five three-point attempts in a support role which suited him well.
And Daniel Hildreth did a great job in the job for which he was brought to the team, causing at least two important turnovers with his hassling of Tanner.
Steve Parillon and Andrew Alleyne claimed 30 of the many rebounds offered by poor shooting on both sides but Bears are still struggling to go on scoring runs.
Their coach Nick Nurse said: "I'm happy with the win. At least this time we got opportunities, we just didn't take them.
"Yorick gave us somebody who can rise up and hit shots in the last couple of minutes. That game was in the balance, then he banged two in and it was over."
Brighton Bears 67, Birmingham 60
