A traders' champion has drawn up a roll of honour paying tribute to businesses which have contributed to a town's Christmas lights.
Worthing Town Centre manager Sharon Clarke thanked all the shops and firms which donated towards the £30,000 appeal.
More than £17,000, including £1,000 from The Argus, was given to the appeal, with the TCI making up the balance from its funds. The lights will be officially unveiled on November 26.
Contributers to date are: Town and Country Markets, Marks and Spencer, Boots, Beales, The Argus/Sentinel/Property Weekly, NCP, Roffey Homes, Southern Water, MGM Assurance, Richard John and Centre Stage Hairdressers, Bathscene, Heptinstalls Jewellers, G H Pressley, Naunton Lynch Hall Solicitors, The Hearing Shop, Fotosound (Worthing) Ltd, Blue Arrow Ltd, Taylor & Sons, Michael Cook Associates, Fludes Carpets, British Bookshops & Stationers, C G Spratt and Son, Him Enterprises, H G Scadgell, Zoo Jewellery, Aladdins Lighting Cave, The Portland Cafe, Vaughan O'Graphic, Norwich Union, The Brunswick, La Difference, Jeremy Silverthorne Jewellers.
