Eastbourne Borough will throw caution to the wind today as they chase FA Cup glory.
Garry Wilson's part-timers take on Oxford United in a high noon showdown at Priory Lane in the club's first ever outing in the first round.
Although Borough are 55 places below the League Two outfit on the football ladder boss Wilson believes their best chance of pulling off a shock is to go on the attack.
Borough have already chalked up 14 goals in five games in this season's competition and are confident of outgunning an Oxford side who have found the net just twice in their last six matches.
"Obviously a draw would be a great achievement but I think we would find it hard in a replay at their place," said Wilson.
"Our best chance of getting through to the next round is to win today.
"There will be a big crowd behind us and we are familiar with the pitch and conditions at Priory Lane so we have got to take advantage of those factors.
"There is no point us sitting back and waiting to see what happens because we might miss our opportunity.
"We have got to go out and give it our best shot right from the first whistle."
A record crowd of more than 3,500 is expected at Priory Lane today, double the previous best at the ground, and Wilson says they will play a huge part if Borough are to grab the headlines.
Borough have won just once in front of their own fans in Conference south this season but have triumphed twice in winner-takes-all Cup replays at Priory Lane.
"The atmosphere in Cup matches is different to the league," said Wilson who gathered his players together at Priory Lane for a special breakfast this morning.
"We have struggled at home this season but hopefully the big crowd and all the excitment surrounding the game will give us the lift we need."
