Two media graduates have been given the chance to premiere their short film documentary on Channel 4's FourDocs website.
Megan Smith and Nick Ledger, who graduated from the University of Chichester last year, produced their film Lower Beach Road as part of their Media Studies degree.
FourDocs was set up by Channel 4 to showcase the work of new documentary makers.
Miss Smith said: "We're really pleased and hope we might be able to get commissioned from it."
Mr Ledger said: "Its a great opportunity to have our films reviewed by commissioning editors."
Megan and Nicks film is about living in an outsider community. They filmed a community of houseboat residents in Shoreham who have opted out of city life and created their own diverse lifestyle.
A FourDocs editor summarised their film as: "A lyrical portrait of some unpromising mud flats and the boat dwellers who bought them from the council."
