A charity is looking for volunteers willing to act as mentors for refugees.
Time Together is a new scheme in Brighton that will pair up people who have been granted asylum in the UK with people who can help them integrate into society, achieve qualifications and find work.
Mentors can use their professional experience to benefit someone who worked in a similar industry in their home country or can simply help them to feel more at home in the UK.
The project is based in the Refugee Advice Project at the Money Advice and Community Support Service in Old Steine, Brighton.
Brighton is one of the first 12 places in the UK to have the scheme, funded by the Home Office.
