We have heard that beavers are making a comeback but I think it is a case of working like beavers at the Old Steine in Brighton.
Over the past few weeks, I have noticed the gardeners digging, turfing and seeding and it didn't look straightforward.
This week they were raking and planting by the fountain and, as if that wasn't enough, they were cleaning out the Memorial Fountain ready for Remembrance Sunday.
This small team seem to take such pride and care in what they do. Other council departments should take note.
I'm sure these are the same chaps who clear up the rubbish in this area before any of us are up.
