A surveillance camera installed as part of a fight against graffiti has stopped tagging.
Brighton and Hove Business Forum city centre manager Soozie Campbell said a new closed circuit television camera erected in Brighton near a problem wall had resulted in an immediate stop to tagging and other vandalism.
The camera is the fourth to be installed in the city since evidence of their use elsewhere showed they were very effective.
Ms Campbell said: "It is working a treat.
"The wall has been graffiti-free since it went up a few months ago when previously it was consistently covered in big tags."
