Some 5,000 hard-core Brighton and Hove Albion supporters out of an estimated 207,000 people in the city, over the age of 16, supported the building of a new football stadium at Falmer.
I would say it is somewhat arrogant of John Prescott to ignore the majority view that Falmer wasn't the right place for a stadium - and even worse for Brighton and Hove's Labour MPs to take sides supporting Falmer.
