Office workers blitzed the streets of graffiti in a day-long clean-up operation.
The Bank of Scotland lent eight of its staff to the Brighton and Hove Business Forum to help scrub off graffiti up and down North Street in Brighton.
The clean-up took place last Wednesday, with bank volunteers and members of the forum using a variety of powerful chemicals provided by Aquarius Solutions, which also lent a jet hose and gave training for free.
The forum's city centre manager, Soozie Campbell, who helped organise the clean-up, said: "There were 127 tags and most of them were on brick and other porous surfaces so it was a lot of hard work.
"We scrubbed for hours but didn't get rid of all of them.
"But we made a big impact."
Several surveillance cameras installed in the city centre are believed to be having a positive effect on curbing graffiti and vandalism.
