Dean Hammond is targeting another scoring spree after celebrating Albion's thumbs-up for Falmer with his first goal for 13 games.
The Hastings-born midfielder ended his famine in Saturday's 1-1 home draw against Ipswich and now he wants to strike again, beginning with Wolves' visit to Withdean tomorrow night.
Hammond's goals at the end of last season kept Albion in the Championship. He continued his rich vein of form with two goals in the first three games this season but had not scored since the home game against Crewe in mid-August.
"It's been a while," Hammond said. "I've missed a few chances, so it was nice to get one. I wasn't losing confidence in front of goal but I was thinking about it too much.
"I think this might kick-start a few more goals for me. That is something the gaffer and coaching staff have tried to add to my game. It's something that we work on in training and I'm trying to improve, so I would like to get a few more."
Manager Mark McGhee said: "Dean missed at Leeds and Leicester when he could have got us goals and won us games. He got a goal on Saturday which should have won us the game but it ended up getting us a point, so we're satisfied."
Sam Parkin's first-half equaliser for Ipswich prevented Albion from following up the all-clear to build their new stadium at Falmer with a second home win of the season.
Hammond said: "There was a bit of a buzz around. The fans were lively, the players were lively, everyone is talking about it. It's great for the club to get a new stadium, that's what we need to progress.
"Everything else at the club is in place. The youth system is brilliant, we are in the Championship now and with the stadium we can get bigger crowds and maybe attract bigger players, so the club can move on from here."
McGhee said: "It was a great day. The attitude and spirit of everyone was almost euphoric and I thought it was a good, fairly open game and a fairly acceptable result.
"Wolves lost on Saturday and I've had good results against them since I left there. If we play as well then we will have a chance of winning."
The threat of a mounting injury crisis receded over the weekend. Captain Charlie Oatway, stretchered off in the first half with a neck injury, was released from hospital on Saturday night. McGhee is hopeful he will be fit to face Wolves together with centre half Paul McShane, who was taken off as a precaution towards the end with a tight hamstring.
McGhee also expects goalkeeper Alan Blayney to recover from a back injury for Saturday's trip to Stoke. He is needed then, as Wayne Henderson's loan spell from Aston Villa ends tomorrow night.
