I feel I have to tell you about Craven Vale Resource Centre in Brighton.
I was recently sent there to rest and recuperate after a stay at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and have nothing but praise for the care I received.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, with a ready smile and kind words of reassurance at a time when I was feeling particularly vulnerable.
The accommodation was lovely, with a well-appointed room situated in a well-maintained and clean building.
A dining area was within easy walking distance or meals could be enjoyed in one's room, if required.
The food was nutritious and tasty and my visitors were always offered a cup of tea and a piece of cake or biscuits, which made the place feel much more homely.
In a time when health care is so maligned, I would like to highlight the excellence of this establishment and to praise the centre's staff and management for their diligence and the care I received, which facilitated my rapid recovery and return home.
Thank you to everybody at the centre, which I can thoroughly recommend to anyone who requires this type of service.
