Relatives and friends of a talented Hove artist who died suddenly this year are holding an exhibition in her memory.
Jo Keeling, 27, painted striking planet-scapes until she collapsed and died of an aneurysm on May 14.
Now, Jo's parents David and Maggie together with some of her friends have organised an exhibition of Jo's paintings to celebrate her life and work.
The collection comprises a series of bold and beautiful lunar-type landscapes which Jo created using unusual materials such as zinc, aluminium and pewter powders, acid and varnish.
Jo, who lived with her parents and younger brother and sister Rich, 21 and Emma, 25, in Lloyd Road, Hove, exhibited some of her work at the Brighton Festival 2003.
Last October her work was on show at the prestigious Waterloo Gallery in London and she was due to exhibit more work at the Canvas Gallery, Seven Dials, this year.
Private viewings of the exhibition at the Burstow Gallery at Brighton College in Eastern Road will take place on November 4 and 5. Open viewings will take place from November 7 to December 10.
