I read with horror about the bonfires, fireworks and noisy parades which will be starting in Sussex this month.
While grown-ups and children may enjoy it, has anyone given a thought to all the poor animals, who, for months, will be absolutely terrified?
Many have to be sedated, although this can't be done every night.
I know there have to be some annual events around November 5 - which is bad enough - but to start in October and continue throughout the Christmas season is dreadful.
It's a waste of money and is totally unnecessary.
