Once again, we are callously exterminating millions of innocent creatures partly because poor living conditions, imposed on them by us, have caused this disease.
There are simple precautions we could take which would minimise disease spreading: Washing hands and food, eating safer, plant-based food and removing outdoor shoes around food.
We should think about what we can do to stop disease spreading. Our dubious record of using other creatures as scapegoats has not proven successful.
