I am surprised England has not issued a stamp to honour Pope John Paul II. It's now nearly six months since his death.
The Royal Mail has issued four extra stamp collections recently, to commemorate 60 years since the end of the Second World War, the marriage of Charles and Camilla, the Olympics coming to London in 2012 and England winning the Ashes. All these stamps were produced quickly.
The Royal Mail has had adequate time to come up with a design to commemorate Pope Jean Paul.
I know there have been covers with just an ordinary stamp on but other countries around the world have produced a stamp with him on it, for example Malta, Belize, St Vincent and Poland.
Come on, Royal Mail, issue a stamp for this great man.
