It seems like only yesterday that the kids went back to school but yikes! It's half term already. We've put together a selection of half-term highlights to keep the little 'uns entertained...
Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus!, Pavilion Theatre, Brighton, Thursday, October 27
- A show full of fun and feathers from the writer of Sesame Street. Written by Mo Willems and adapted for the stage by Adam Bampton-Smith, this lively show features original music and lots of audience participation. The friendly bus driver leaves the kids with one simple instruction: "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus!" But the pigeon whines, bribes, pleads and even sings a song to get his own way. Adventures of Jack And Jill In The Forgotten Nursery, Pavillion Theatre, Worthing, Thursday, October 27
- Hidden in the attic of Kingsley Hall, a Victorian nursery is discovered by twins, Jack and Jill. They soon befriend the enchanted toys and restore magic to the attic but there's a twist in the tale. This new show from The Panto Company is crammed with original songs and bags of audience participation. Tickets cost £8.50 and £7.50. Starts 1pm. Call 01903 206206. Ages 3+.
Sparrow Fritz, Komedia, Brighton, Sunday, October 30
- Another bird adventure tells the tale of Sparrow Fritz, a young sparrow whose first effort to fly fails and he crash-lands into a dark cellar. Here he begins an unusual friendship with three rats. Theatre Katerland present this story which is narrated by a grumpy property manager Mr. Smith and his cranky tenant Mr. Miller. Starts 2pm. (Open 1pm for drinks and colouring). The Tropical Snowman, Sanctuary Cella, Hove, Thursday, October 27
- An award-winning story teller promises to mesmerise his listeners with this seasonal tale sure to stimulate the imagination. Winter has just begun and little Roy is desperate for it to snow. Meanwhile there's the joys of Bonfire Night to look forward to and a rocket to fly to the moon! Starts 3pm. Tickets cost £6 and £5. Ages 4+.
