Fatboy Slim is going down under for a musical tribute to a woman who is famous for her love of shoes - just as his wife is learning to dance in hers.
Norman Cook, who lives in Hove, is taking part in a new musical about the footwear-loving multi-millionairess Imelda Marcos just as his wife Zoe Ball takes part in television's Strictly Come Dancing.
The show, Here Lies Love, gets its world premier at the Adelaide Bank Festival in Australia next year and is a musical collaboration between Cook and Talking Heads star David Byrne, who devised the project.
The show follows Marcos, the wife of Philippines' dictator Ferdinand, as she parties through New York. It is expected to go to the Liverpool Biennial and festivals in Europe before reaching New York in 2007.
The crew behind the show describe it as a club piece, which will transform any stage into a giant dance club with singers, video screens and bar.
