It is interesting The Argus presumed that when the King Alfred model leaves Brighton's Jubilee Library to come to Hove, it will come to Hove Library (The Argus, October 13).
Logically that should be the case. Indeed, the model should have been situated in Hove Library first, in view of the fact it is Hove which is where the development would be built.
The fact is that Hove Library will be closing at the end of October for refurbishment and the model will be displayed at Hove Town Hall.
This is inequitable indeed, for it means that people working from Monday to Friday will have no weekend opportunity to go and look at what they are supposed to be considering and commenting or objecting about.
What people can do, however, is look at the plans, the local plan, etc on the council's web site if they have access to a computer.
At the City Direct Office there is a computer which can be used for accessing council documentation and information, too.
When Hove Library has closed, those who want to see the plans can go to the town hall to use the council computer.
You can even make your comment/objection on the computer but it is pre-set for comments and must be changed if people wish to object.
A comment does not count as an objection.
But, again, not on a Saturday.
