The IsItFair group recently informed me that Celia Barlow, MP for Hove, has refused to present a petition to Parliament requesting a fairer deal on council tax for senior citizens.
Being a lifelong member of the Labour Party, I find it hard to believe a Labour MP would not be prepared to support the old and vulnerable in our society.
Because of this, I decided to email Ms Barlow and ask her if it was true or not. As yet, I have not received a response.
As a Labour party supporter I find it incomprehensible that she would turn her back on the senior citizens in her constituency.
