What has happened to the pond at Queens Park, Brighton? My family hasn't seen it all summer.
While I dealt with my company business and our house move, I deposited my wife and children with friends in East Drive, by their favourite pond, to feed the ducks and geese, which is their favourite pastime.
Instead they saw fish gasping for air and dying because of insufficient water in the pond. They counted 50 dead fish at one point. The clearance of the pond was very badly organised.
Now my family has had to drive out to find ducks and geese. On top of that, I have returned to find the island in the centre of the pond, and the home of the birds, destroyed.
The lovely view across the pond, with all its wildlife, has been lost for the entire summer. The repairs to the pond have been carried out badly and now need to be done again.
I now take my disappointed family home and leave my friends with a ruined view.
