A mayor will appear on television rooting for participants of the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
Bob Carden, Mayor of Brighton and Hove, has been asked to give an interview in support of Zoe Ball and Patsy Palmer, who will be contestants on the first show of the new series on Saturday on BBC 1 at 6.30pm and 9.25pm.
TV presenter Zoe Ball lives in Hove with husband Norman Cook and former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer lives in Kemp Town, Brighton.
Producers of the show are coming to the city on Monday to ask people what they thought of their fellow residents' performances.
They will be interviewing Mayor Carden in his full robes and chains.
The interviews will be broadcast on Monday or Tuesday evening on Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two on BBC 2 at 6.30pm.
