Onyx, the rubbish collection and management firm, has a web site covering the South Downs area.

The site was launched in April this year and provides information about household waste, recycling, composting and energy recovery.

It also has details of the Onyx Resource Action Fund, which provides grants for waste awareness and recycling projects, and Ecostar, a web-based resource for children to learn about waste and how to reduce, reuse and recycle.
