Support is growing for the Falmer campaign as Brighton and Hove Albion fans wait nervously for the Deputy Prime Minister's crucial decision.
The pressure is mounting on John Prescott to say yes to a new 22,000-seater stadium at Falmer. Without it, fans fear the club will have no future.
Mr Prescott, with whom the final decision to allow the stadium rests, is expected to make an announcement by October 31 at the latest.
Television presenter Des Lynam, an ardent Albion fan, continued to show his support for The Argus Falmer For All campaign when he visited a radio station to promote his autobiography.
He met TalkSport presenter Robyn Schonhofer, who has supported the club since the age of 13, on Tuesday and the pair posed holding one of The Argus' posters.
Mr Lynam, who lives in Sussex, was also among thousands of fans, who marched through the streets of Brighton waving banners and posters during the Labour Party Conference.
He travelled to Downing Street in December 2003 with Norman Cook, aka DJ Fatboy Slim, to present a petition signed by 62,000 people in favour of Falmer and is a regular face in the crowd at Seagulls' matches.
Robyn, 28, of Holland Road, Hove, said: "I am 100 per cent behind the campaign for Falmer.
"Without it, our club will die. I can't see how we would carry on if we stayed at Withdean because we aren't making enough money.
"Withdean is not suitable for a club like Brighton and Hove and Falmer is the only reasonable site."
Former Albion legend, Gary Stevens, who scored for Brighton in the 1983 FA Cup final, is also a member of the broadcast team.
