A couple of years ago, I wished to purchase a raincoat in Brighton. I visited all the large stores in the "city" and several of the remaining men's outfittersm to be told it was the wrong time of year for the item or they were waiting for fresh stock to be delivered.
I eventually managed to buy this garment on a visit to the Republic of Ireland, in Cork city.
I put my failure to buy a raincoat in Brighton down to bad luck and forgot all about it. A few months ago, I wanted to buy some fuse wire and visited Seeboard offices in Brighton and Hove.
To my surprise, I was told they did not stock fusewire. Then I wished to buy some handkerchiefs and tried all the large stores, only to be told they did not stock them.
Recently I wished to buy a hotwater bottle but was told by various chemists they did not have any.
I wished to buy a lampshade for a room I had decorated and found it was impossible to find one.
I now have a long list of various articles I am unable to buy in Brighton.
Am I surprised at this? Not at all! I came to the conclusion long ago that Britain today is populated by a degenerate and sub-human population going rapidly down the pan.
This is why most people are leaving these shores if it is at all possible for them to do so. The ones who are left would dearly like to leave but for various reasons are unable to do so.
