I was driving westbound on the A259 at Roedean, approaching the first set of traffic lights by the Pitch and Putt, when my car windscreen was hit by a golf ball coming straight at me.
Someone must have hit the ball with considerable force towards the sea. How many other motorists have had this happen?
Shouldn't there be rules as to which way the ball can and can't be hit? Who is responsible?
If I had been a motorcyclist, I could easily have been killed.
As it is, I have to have the screen replaced.
The person who did this must have known which way they were hitting the ball.
I hope it happens to them one day, then they will know how frightening it is.
