I hear Tony Blair was all smiles when visiting my son's school, St Bartholemews Primary, Brighton, last week.
It made me think of another Brighton resident, also with a son aged four, whose wellbeing was clearly not on Blair's mind.
Sulaiman, the son of Guantanmo detainee Omar Deghayes, has had to live most of his life without his father, imprisoned since 2002.
It is time to end the humiliation of this Brightonian and all the others held in limbo at Guantanamo Bay.
