Taxi fares are set to climb in Eastbourne.
Hackney carriage drivers will now put £1.90 on their meters at the start of a journey, as well as an extra 30p for the first mile.
The rise applies to all 84 licensed taxis in the town but not the private hire vehicles who can set their own fares.
The increase was agreed by Eastbourne Borough Council.
