Back in 1991 Transglobal Underground achieved the enduring love of clubbers everywhere with the release of Temple Head, a fusion of ethnic sounds and techno breaks which became a dancefloor favourite and heralded the arrival of "world dance" music.
Almost 15 years later the amorphous group - currently keyboardist Tim Whelan, rapper Coleridge, percussionist Gurjit Sihra, drummer Man Tu and bass/sitar player Sheema Mukherjee - still deliver the dholpowered dub and slinky sitar runs that came to characterise a genre.
However, the band lacked the presence of Natacha Atlas, the Arabic singer whose solo success has taken her away from regular performances with the group.
Unwilling to rely on past glories, the band never provided a rendition of their classic record, which would have provided the hands-in-the-air topping to their spicy, danceable recipe.
