A 14ft inflatable poo is to be floated in the sea in protest against sewage.
Campaigners from Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) are calling for the Government to support their calls for a full sewage treatment infrastructure for Brighton's 250,000 residents.
Surfers will launch the inflatable in the water in front of the Brighton Centre at 11am today alongside a banner reading: "Full sewage treatment for Brighton."
The group campaigns for cleaner and safer water in Brighton and is calling for the Environment Secretary Margaret Beckett to ensure standards at Southern Water's proposed sewage treatment works at Peacehaven.
