Adam Trimingham (The Argus, September 14) is right to think about the future of Brighton and Hove.
For too long, the objectors have held sway with their spurious arguments against any development. If we are to survive as a modern progressive city, we must accept the new with the old and the King Alfred project would be a good start.
So why don't we put this scheme to the residents of the city in a referendum?
