As someone who has lived here all my life, it seemed Brighton always had everything first. We used to have cinemas and even a bingo hall - all closed now.

In the recent hot weather youngsters could be seen enjoying the paddling pool at the Hove Lagoon. These children will grow up to use the new complex. How exiting for them to know it will be there for them.
We should feel honoured Frank Gehry has designed a building which will continue to keep Brighton and Hove as a worldwide attraction.
