With the campaign for a new community stadium for the Albion entering its final weeks or even days, I would urge all Albion fans who can to join the march on the Labour conference next Monday.
Let's hope it will turn into a celebration rather than a demonstration, with John Prescott putting the objections of planning inspectors aside and giving Falmer the thumbs up.
Local Labour MPs and Labour council leaders, both past and present, have been at the forefront of the campaign to get a new stadium and without their determination, this long struggle against much opposition might have ended many months ago.
I remember many people in my own ward of East Brighton going to the polling station wearing Albion shirts to vote in the stadium referendum, getting a yes for Falmer would be great for them, great for local jobs and great for local sport.
