I was on my way for a drink recently, walking along Connaught Road, then suddely thought I must be on my way back after several pints too many.
I kept seeing myself everywhere.
I shook my head in disbelief and the other head shook at the same time.
Time to go on the wagon, I thought, except that, in this area, I would probably be given a parking ticket.
I looked closer and found that, in fact, the windows of one of the ground-floor flats in a new block have been completely lined with mirrors.
Of course, some people might say that my face is better to look at than that building (and some might not) but what would Hove look like if everybody put mirrors in their windows?
I don't remember this going before the planning committee and am surprised they let it through.
