A 14-year-old girl last seen more than two weeks ago is still missing.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Alex Heamen, who left her home in Abergavenney Road, Lewes, on September 1 to meet friends in Brighton for the weekend.
She sent her mother, Tamsin Leverton, a text message two days later but did not return in time for the start of the new term at Priory School, Lewes.
Police have been examining CCTV footage of Brighton's Palace Pier and the beach after she was seen on the pier with two men on September 4.
Hundreds of posters have been put up in Lewes and Brighton in the hope that someone will recognise Alex and get in touch. There have been unconfirmed sightings of her in the Landport and Ousedale area of Lewes.
Miss Leverton, 33, made an emotional appeal for her daughter to get in touch at a Press conference on Friday. Alex's grandparents travelled to Lewes from Cornwall on the same day.
Miss Leverton said: "Please, please come home. I love and miss you so very much. We want you home safe and sound where you belong."
Detective Superintendent Russ Whitfield, leading the search, said Alex was not in any trouble and urged her to get in touch. Her mobile phone has not been used since she sent the message to her mother and she has no access to money, clothes or food.
Alex is described as 5ft 6in , of medium build with blue eyes and dyed medium brown hair.
She was wearing light blue jeans. a white low-cut top and black boots when she was last seen.
