Police investigating a ram raid attack on a bank believe a young couple may hold vital clues.
Officers want to trace the pair who were seen walking in Jarvis Road, Steyning, at 4am on September 10.
A mini digger was used to rip a cash dispenser from the wall of the HSBC bank in High Street and thieves made away with £30,000.
Bank managers are offering a reward of up to £15,000 to help catch the offenders, who demolished the front of the bank before dumping the digger, which had been stolen from a nearby construction site.
Detective Inspector Jo Wainwright wants to trace the owners of a silver car seen driving along Kingsbarn Road behind a red Toyota pick-up truck which the thieves used to escape.
Ms Wainwright also wants to speak to the owner of a silver car, similar to a Mondeo in style, which was seen parked at about 9am on Steyning High Street near the bank the day before the raid.
It may or may not be the same car already mentioned.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Operation Venom incident room on 0845 6070999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
