A community association is adding its voice to calls against plans for a high-rise block of flats on the seafront.
Members of the North Laine Community Association have voted to offer their support to the Kemp Town Society in its fight against proposals to build a 40-storey tower at Brighton Marina.
Campaigners have voiced concerns that blocks of flats will harm their views.
Brunswick Developments has reapplied to Brighton and Hove City Council for planning permission for a development of 988 flats in 11 buildings ranging from five to 40 storeys.
The company originally drafted a similar plan for 990 flats last year but had another look at the project following concerns from residents.
The Kemp Town Society has raised new concerns that the vista towards the sea from the top of the eastern side of Lewes Crescent will be compromised by one of the blocks.
The group will get a letter of support soon from the North Laine Community Association.
