Brighton and Hove's oldest law firm, Howlett Clarke Crowther Wood, has been renamed Howlett Clarke after it was decided their old name was a bit of tongue twister.
Howlett Clarke partner Tim Fenton said: "The name of our business isn't as important as the services we offer but it does help now that our brand is shorter and it's certainly more memorable.
"Also, the re-brand reflects recent changes, such as our recent acquisition of Rustemeyer & Co.
"As we continue to expand, we can't keep adding to our previously lengthy name. It would all get a bit out of hand."
Howlett Clarke has offices in Ship Street and Preston Road in Brighton and Boundary Road in Hove.
