"We absolutely cannot give out any information whatsoever."

You would be forgiven for thinking this was the response of a NASA scientist guarding the top secrets of space.

But actually this was Jordan and Peter Andre's publicist when we asked about their upcoming wedding.

The headline-grabbing relationship between the pair has caught everyone's imagination since they got together in the jungle on the reality show I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here.

The couple, who live on a private estate in Maresfield, near Uckfield, have now been together for 18 months and have a two-month-old son, Junior.

Rumours have been spreading like wild fire about the nuptials between the glamour girl and pop star, which takes place this Saturday.

The details have been closely guarded and even Jordan's own family do not know the wedding plans. Some have not even been invited.

Renee Ansell, 82, of Rutland Road, Hove, who has herself appeared on ITV's X-Factor, said: "I don't think she has invited any of the family. We are not invited because we are not celebrities.

"I am her grandmother's first cousin and we all used to be very close. She even worked for me in my fabric shop for a couple of years when she was 16.

"All the cousins used to be close. We lived near each other in Richmond Place in Brighton when we were children.

"There are another couple of cousins who are also close relatives but I don't think they have been invited either.

"The last time I saw her was at her grandmother's 80th birthday last year.

"I met Peter there and we were talking for a very long time. I thought he was very charming at the time but now he seems different - from what I have seen on TV and in the papers. I don't know what he is like now.

"They are in a celebrity world. It's just fantasy. It's not a real world.

"She is getting paid so much money for this wedding. It's publicity.

"I guess her grandmother will go to the wedding and will tell me all about it next week, otherwise I will read about it in the papers."

Some secrets have slipped through the net and here are just a few of the unconfirmed rumours doing the rounds.

The guest list has been drawn up with invites sent out on scrolls decorated with pink hearts.

The lavish wedding cake will be an exact replica of the bride's 32FF breasts.

The cake is being made by Brighton chocolatiers Choccywoccydoodah, which regularly supplies lavish cakes for the rich and famous.

Jordan is determined to smash the world record for the longest train on a bridal gown with her frock by designer Kyri. The world title is currently held by a Dutch bride at 2,545ft.

The bride will arrive at the ceremony in a Cinderella-style carriage pulled by six white horses and entertainment for the day will include karaoke. Reports say the groom will serenade his new wife.

Charlotte Church, who is a guest along with her Welsh rugby star boyfriend Gavin Henson, will sing Ave Maria during the wedding ceremony.

Jordan's bridesmaids are former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.

Other wedding guests will include former EastEnders stars Michael Greco and Dean Gaffney, topless model Linsey Dawn McKenzie and It-Girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.

The couple have also invited most of the celebrities who appeared with them in the jungle, including Lord Brocket and Jenni Bond. But they are leaving out former Sex Pistol John Lydon after he branded Jordan a "lazy, spoilt sod" when he left the show.

It is claimed the model and pop star have sold the rights to the do, which will take place at Highclere Castle in Newbury, Berkshire, to ITV and OK! magazine for almost £2 million.

Guests will face stringent security in order to protect the couple's OK! deal, with former SAS soldiers and intelligence officers creating a ring of steel around the wedding. Guests have been ordered not to bring cameras, including those on mobile phones.

ITV2 cameras have followed the pair since Katie found out she was pregnant.

The series, titled Jordan and Peter: Marriage And Mayhem, will show everything from the wedding plans to the honeymoon and outrageous hen weekend.

The show is broadcast on ITV2 on Friday nights at 9pm from September 23. Jordan & Peter - The Wedding will be screened on ITV1.
