In response to your front-page article on Wing Commander Bob Doe (The Argus, August 26), we thoroughly support efforts by the Battle of Britain Historical Society to name a road in the Crowborough area of Sussex
after him - and while this proud fighter ace is still alive, too.
England doesn't have many war heroes left so this is a golden opportunity to say thank you to one of the few who are still alive.
