I felt I had to write in praise of a lovely little boy called Aaron.
I recently went to Sainsbury's in west Hove with my 16-year-old disabled daughter, Sarah, who is in a wheelchair and unable to talk.
Whereas most people stand and stare, Aaron, who was about five years old, talked to Sarah, held her hand and kissed her cheek.
He asked, "Is she unwell?" and was not "put off" by her disability. Sarah rewarded him with a smile.
He was shopping with his dad and it was so sweet the way he treated Sarah, it made my day and brought a tear to my eye.
