I would like to thank Andrew Todd (Letters, September 1) for his kind comments about A Bit Of A Do at Kemp Town's Internet Cafe 22 on August 24.
I would also, on behalf of Jerry and Dolores, like to thank the generosity of local businesses, Lee Walker of Cafe 22 and, of course, the invited guests who attended and dug deep into their pockets on a windswept night in Brighton.
Special mention must go to the performer from High Spin, who gave such a heart-warming performance, and David Raven, whose generosity never fails to amaze me.
Local charity High Spin works tirelessly for other people and this is something which should make people stop and think in this increasingly selfish and cynical world.
Thank you all for such a great evening.
-Roy Miles, (aka Dolores Diamonde), Kemp Town
