One of Southwick's oldest homes will be open to the public this weekend as part of national Heritage Open Days.
Manor Cottage will be showing the area's oldest map, dating from the 1780s, pictures of a recent architectural dig and an exhibition telling the story of Southwick during the Second World War.
Visitors to the building in Southwick Street, will also be able to see the historic crown-post timber roof which dates from the 15th Century.
Niger Divers, secretary of the Southwick Society, said: "The recent dig at the cottage created huge interest. Unfortunately for safety reasons we could not show people round while work was in progress. Now everybody is welcome to come."
The cottage is open on Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Admission is free.
