On September 12, Brighton and Hove City Council will hold a meeting at which a decision will be made about the future of the King Alfred sports centre in Hove.

Because of an abstention by one of the councillors at the last meeting, council leader Ken Bodfish gave his casting vote to go ahead with the proposed concrete jungle.

It has been reported that even though there are serious problems to be overcome with this development, all the Labour councillors will be voting for it to go ahead.

None of the Labour councillors represent any of the neighbouring residents. Is this a case of all for one and one for all even though they know the plan is flawed?
