Peter Pan flies into the 21st Century in this new adaptation, which will make audiences rethink Pan, Wendy and all.
Award-winning West Sussex Youth Theatre have wanted to present JM Barrie's classic story of the boy who never grew up for a long time. Their version updates the play while maintaining much of the original book's charm.
At the helm are Lawrence Till, artistic director of The Watford Palace Theatre, designer Sophia Lovell Smith and Sussex choreographer Rose Ryan.
Presented as a series of stories, the production is set in Barrie High School and sees the young actors telling their own stories of childhood and school life.
Peter Pan is being played by actor Alex Parker, a student at Steyning Grammar School. Captain Hook will be played by Ross Drury from Burgess Hill and Stephen Rice from East Grinstead.
Wendy is played by Jennie Durrant from Warden Park School, Cuckfield and Simran Pharar from Crawley stars as Tinkerbell.
